We work to make religious education accessible to girls who may otherwise have limited opportunities to learn. Through Darul Zahra, our aim is to create an environment where students can develop their understanding, strengthen their values and pursue learning with confidence.

Alongside education, we aim to support families facing economic hardship through practical opportunities and community welfare.
We aim to establish vocational and professional training opportunities that empower young people from poor and orphaned families with practical skills to pursue employment and build more independent futures.

Rooted in our community
We began our services in Purah Maroof in the Mau district of Uttar Pradesh, a deprived region with a significant Shia community where access to religious and secular education can be limited. Our work aims to help address these educational gaps and support people facing social and economic challenges.

From foundational Maktab learning to advanced Islamic studies, Darul Zahra aims to nurture knowledge, faith and character at every stage of a girl's educational journey.
Programme 01
For our younger learners, we follow a standard Maktab syllabus designed for Grades 1 to 5. The programme focuses on building essential foundations of Islamic knowledge and practice in a nurturing learning environment.

Al-Qaem Global Foundation Trust is a non-profit, charitable organisation founded by Hasan Abbas, son of Margub Abbas. Its registered office is in Husainabad, Kurthijafarpur, Mau district, Uttar Pradesh. The foundation works to support vulnerable communities through educational, charitable and social welfare initiatives.

The foundation’s head office is located in Mau, Uttar Pradesh, India. Its wider mission is to extend educational and welfare initiatives to communities across India, subject to available resources and programme arrangements.
The foundation aims to support people facing social and economic difficulties, including orphans, underprivileged families, students and educationally disadvantaged communities. Its charitable vision is to provide support without discrimination based on caste, race or religion, in accordance with its governing documents and programmes.
The foundation’s current initiatives include Dar-ul-Zahra Madrasa for girls, educational fee sponsorship for deserving students, Ramadan food ration distribution and marriage assistance (tawaaon). Its longer-term vision includes expanding educational opportunities and developing further community welfare initiatives, such as orphan support, care for older people, charitable healthcare and disaster relief, as resources permit.
